SMALL GOBLIN II


You call him a Screenmate? Huh... he is a HORRIBLE BEAST instead! 


Quick Start:
============

- Run Goblin:

Unzip and run Goblin.exe. You can put this file wherever you like.
If you click"Install in Startup" - it will be copied  to startup,
and it'll start automatically with Windows.

- Run Scenario:

Scenario is a file that starts many Goblins with predefined roles/games.

To run scenario, make sure you have it in the same directory
with Goblin.exe. Scenario usually goes with soundtracks, which 
should be played through your default player.
Scenario has *.bat file extention.

- Close running Goblins:

Use Crusher.exe to close all goblins and/or 
to remove it from Startup automatically.
You can also RIGHT-CLICK on running goblin to get the menu, and
close goblin(s) from the menu. If you have any problems - look at 
"How to remove Goblin?" section of this document.


Features list:
==============

- 4 Roles: 

	Ghost     - low activity, rarely visible
	Small     - normal activity/visibility
	Joker     - higher activity
	Terrorist - very high and disturbing activity

- 3 Games:
		
	Jedi      - Takes a laser sabre and uses it.
	Football  - Plays football (run many goblins for more fun).
        Battle    - Fights other  goblins constantly. 

        If no game selected, starts/stops games randomly.

- Goblins interact with user. They can take mouse out from user.
  But user can also grab them with a mouse and throw away.

- Interact with each other - run many goblins and see.

- Interact with desktop - moving/resizing windows, 
  playing tricks with mouse cursor.
- "Hide until" option (date, on which goblin must activate) -
  great - when somebody wants to leave a surprise on a friend's comp...
- "Task Manager->End Task" Windows95/98 protector (User can't 
  remove Goblin with Win95/98 Task Manager).
- Command line params (use /? for help).
- Options screen (activate with Right Click or with /O cmd param)


Command Line Params:
====================
GOBLIN [/switch1 /switch2 ...]

/S[mall]       - Small role
/G[host]       - Ghost role 
/J[oker]       - Joker role 
/T[errorist]   - Terrorist role
/I[nstall]     - Copy istelf to StartUp directory & restart from this dir
/O[ptions]     - Run from options screen (where U can modify all options)
/U[nisitall]   - Remove all running goblins, and delete StartUp 
                 executable
/PJ	       - plays a Jedi all the time
/PF            - plays football all the time
/PB            - fights with others all the time
/H[elp],/?     - help screen

Examples:

GOBLIN  /I /J       - insall to startup dir on current computer with 
                      Joker role
GOBLIN  /O          - run goblin from Options screen
GOBLIN  /U          - Uninstall from current computer


HOW TO REMOVE GOBLIN?
=====================

There are several ways:

a) RIGHT CLICK, then click "Uninstall" in menu.
   It's hard to right-click, because goblin tries to escape.
   So, the trick is - first LEFT CLICK, and when you catch 
   him, RIGHT CLICK while holding LEFT CLICK. This is very easy to do.

b) Use CRUSHER.EXE - It'll C_R_U_S_H any number of running Goblins 
   on your computer. It will remove Goblin from StartUp too.

c) Use command line: GOBLIN.EXE /U

d) Use "Task Manager" (WinXP/Win2K) - Right-click on a taskbar, 
   start "Task Manager", find all Goblin.exe in the processes list
   and "End" them.
